How to Make Good Investments

By Carlitos

· 1 min read

Addressing a question on investment framework.

Making good investments comes down to three operational rules:

  1. Liquidity > paper returns: always evaluate exit depth before sizing in. A $10k position in a major liquid asset beats a $1m paper gain in an illiquid micro cap

  2. Follow structural tailwinds: allocate where sovereign state pressure and monetary debasement force capital to flow (Bitcoin, Gold, core equities).

  3. Asymmetric patience: buy strong thesis driven assets during quiet structural consolidations, not when ct is frantically chasing 1 minute candles
