Surviving the purge

By Carlitos

Right now, we are in a seller’s market in the trenches.

Liquidity is thin, attention spans are tiny, and almost every launch is structured for fast capital extraction. Rallies get sold instantly, and narrative cycles die within days.

This won’t last forever.

The progression is always the same. We move from this current seller’s market (thin liquidity, fast dumps, pure extraction) into a full liquidity flush (grifters leave, volume drops, quiet market), which ultimately sets up the accumulation phase and the next buyer’s market (real projects build, quality makes new ath’s, asymmetric upside).

This purge is necessary. It washes out the grifters, wipes out leverage, and forces capital back into actual fundamentals. When the market turns, and it always turns, quality projects with actual distribution, real revenues, and solid teams will break out and hit new ath’s.

My goal right now isn’t to chase every new pump or hyped token. I am focused on protecting my capital, doubling down on security, and patiently accumulating assets. I need to remind myself that my own mind is playing mental games with myself.

Protect what’s yours.
