I still see myself as a small creator on X. I have about 29,400 followers now. I deleted about 11k bots and fake followers or simply, accounts that outsourced their brain to AI. I started growing my personal account getting into sub niches. Mostly nft communities during the 2021 hype. I got to know people, I still call friends today. Actually most of my circle started out online in or around that same time. I think this is important to highlight.
Form your own group, grow with them. This takes longer as it ain’t a shortcut, but this delayed gratification of making it with your bros is actually priceless. I started Ascend with Ataberk and we opened a gc on X. While the agency had to close, the chat remains alive with around 80 people close to me. Wherever I could, I tried to help and whenever I saw something I did not like, I commented on it and still do. I think most people are too afraid. Afraid to speak their mind and afraid to lose something, they never really owned. And for what its worth, it is just my opinion, you can disagree and I will still call you a friend if we can discuss like educated people.

This brings us to one of the biggest advantages this space has. If you’re on X, you have the opportunity to interact with experts, millionaires, industry leaders and practically anyone.
That’s why finding your people is crucial. In this space, information is rewarded, and one person alone won’t get as far as a group.
Literally, the opportunity of your life could be behind a reply.
Don’t be afraid to send that DM. Every reply or interaction you have is important because it will say something about who you are. First impressions are everything.
In my opinion, what has worked best for me is sharing my content and becoming someone “interesting” enough that better people follow me and want to talk to me too.
So again, the importance of your personal brand.
