People over complicated dd: the simple edge
By Carlitos

Lines, Fibonacci retracements, and indicator overlays look convincing in post market recaps, but in high velocity, reflexivity driven markets, liquidity is social. Instead of cluttering charts with complex technical overlays, pay attention to the fundamental driver of flow: reputation and signal quality.
Look at how ct reacted on wednesday, when FrankDeGods decided to take profits and liquidate. Some called it the end of the meta, while others saw pure game theory in action. In fact, Frank’s instant reaction after bagging $1.5 million in profit was literally to dm someone asking for a new watch, peak American new rich behaviour. I do not salute that, but its one possible approach.
I agree with Star that there are plenty of other, better ways to trim your wins without scaring everybody. Specially if your trading has social clout. I do want to remind quickly here of the Minh example. who went from being up 400k on paper to now being down about 25k on paper. He only took initials out of his massive position.
Something I do respect. Minh > Frank. But a middle ground, like always, is the better choice. Just keep clipping, on the way up, on the way down. Just keep clipping small bags up or down.
Squirrels @0xSquirrels@Carlitoswa_y he posted a thesis on btc"nothing is wrong. just taking a break. disappointed that catalysts aren't moving things. pump PVP on stonk was pretty gross too. just didn't like it. gonna reset & will be back. sick month. gg."

But, back to my point. This strategy bypasses over analysis. It focuses strictly on sentiment: Who generates real flow, and who distributes toxic order flow onto their followers? When high conviction callers move, liquidity follows. You don’t need a math degree; you just need to know who drives the crowd.
This is dangerous, as the same people might instantly dump on you. So do not copy trade anyone, ever. But use those buys to understand why a position is built. Create your own thesis from it.
