The beach strategy: winning by forgetting
By Carlitos

The single best trade execution setup is often the one you set and completely walk away from. Consider this real example from my best recent trade: I bought a micro cap meme coin, closed my laptop, headed to the beach for the afternoon, and returned to find +$40k in paper gains.
Why did that trade work when active micro management so often fails?
> I didn’t cut the trade at the first red candle out of fear
> I didn’t micro manage take profits or panic sell during routine liquidity sweeps
> The market was allowed to complete its move without my nervous system interfering
When you are constantly glued to the screen, every 1% tick against your position triggers a stress response. You over adjust, cut winners early, let losers run, and over trade to win back lost ground. Real profitability comes when you learn to let runners run and cut excessive weight early.
As Star explains below in his section, I have been right and sidelined, too. I try to keep a moonbag. Sometimes I come back and those bucks are 30x’d. It’s worth it, though most tend to go to zero and stay there forever. It’s the nature of the game.
