Profit taking is supposed to feel a little bad

I think this is something traders should accept much earlier.

If you scale out properly, some of your sells are going to look stupid afterwards. Maybe you sell 20% at a 2x, another part at a 3x and then watch the rest go to 10x. Your brain will naturally focus on the tokens you sold at 2x and calculate what they would have been worth at the top.

But you’re judging a decision made with incomplete information using information you only got afterwards. That’s impossible to win.

This is why I like the idea of selling in pieces much more than trying to make one perfect decision. You can reduce some exposure at important levels, keep some if the trend remains strong and let the market decide what happens with the rest.
